What part would be the live auction? The evening moved along well as far as timing. I don't think we want to go any later. If we live auction the Silent Auction, will that add to the time line?
Here's a far out thought, so don't crucify me, but do we really need a speaker? I noticed that everyone gave the speaker there attention, but it seemed that they were ready to get to the bag auction.

Also, Greg you may be already aware of this, Jan and Joan mentioned that they were going to sit down and document the whole thing in a binder to make it easier for some one to follow.

Heres another thought! I was thinking that we should be sending a news letter to the contributers throughout the year, so that we can stay in their brain. It might make it easier when we aproach them for donnations.

I question the speaker issue myself and I think that is something that needs to be decided by the members. It can be a good way to draw people but so could a live auction on some items to fill the void of a speaker if it goes that way. Personally I think Bill is just fantasizing about being an auctioneer.
The night ran later than normal but as this thing continues to grow (we hope) that is inevitable.

The dream life... as an auctioneer. Oh how I long to spend my Saturday mornings drinking bad coffee in the cold, all while selling other peoples junk and trying to convince them it's not worth what they think it is. Now thats living.

It's time to start calling on fly shops and related businesses to ask for donations for the 2010 Annual Banquet. We need to organize the 2010 Banquet Committee, starting with appointing a chairperson. The date is March 27, 2010 and the location is Carranor Club in Perrysburg, OH. I think I heard that we have a main speaker and an M/C lined up, but I don't recall who they are. There will be a second Banquet Committee meeting on Wed. , Feb. 10 at 5:00 p.m. at Toledo Sailing Club.
